ASTech Awards: Community – Inspiring Us
Thank you Community! – for coming together and bringing great support for the 2 ASTech Awards events we are having this year – on Oct 27 and Nov 3. The Inaugural ASTech Awards Grande Opening Ceremony in Edmonton was a great success, and we are looking forward to the 34th Annual Awards Gala in Calgary this Friday, November 3.
So on that note – to everyone:

A reminder of the upcoming Ticket Purchase Deadlines for the Calgary Awards Gala – coming up on Monday. As well, we are gathering suggestions to make all of our events as impactful as possible – so please send suggestions to president@technologyalberta.ca.
Please do join us at these events – and help build the innovation community together with your colleagues and the many community leaders – and cheer on our finalists and future leaders.
What I am looking forward to – at the Calgary Gala is:
- Being Inspired by finalists across 20 Categories – from Life Sciences, to Aerospace, from Digital Innovation to Agriculture, From Cleantech to Social Innovation
- Learning about the latest that our post-secondaries have to offer through research – or for our students and entrepreneurs – with participation through attendance or sponsorship by: University of Calgary, University of Alberta, University of Lethbridge, Red Deer Polytechnic, Norquest College, Olds College, Mount Royal University, MacEwan University, and more.
- Talking with our innovation ecosystem builders, that are welcoming community input -and attending to learn more from the perspectives of all like: PrairiesCan, Government of Alberta, Alberta Innovates, Cybera and more.
